Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

RenameHub (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the website at renamehub.app and the application at app.renamehub.com. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at admin@studio074.dev.

2. Information we collect

• Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address and, optionally, your name.
• Files and metadata. Files you upload or connect via cloud storage are processed solely to perform renaming. We do not sell your files, share them with third parties for any commercial purpose, or use their content to train any AI or large language model. Uploaded files are automatically deleted within 48 hours for your privacy.
• Usage data. We log actions such as jobs created, templates saved, and features used to improve the product and diagnose issues.
• Billing information. Payment details are handled by Stripe. We store only a Stripe customer ID — we never see or store full card numbers.
• Cookies and local storage. We use cookies and browser storage to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and understand aggregate usage patterns. See Section 6 for details.

3. How we use your information

• To provide, operate, and improve the RenameHub service.
• To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• To process payments and manage your subscription.
• To send transactional emails (account confirmation, billing receipts).
• To respond to support requests.
• To monitor performance and debug errors.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Third-party services

• Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, Box. When you connect cloud storage, we request only the OAuth scopes needed to list and rename files. We store access tokens securely and never share them.
• Stripe. Handles all payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Google Gemini API.File names and document metadata are sent to Google's AI API for smart classification. No file content beyond what is necessary for naming is transmitted.
• Railway / Cloudflare. Our infrastructure providers. Data is stored within their respective platforms under standard data-processing agreements.

5. Data retention

Account and usage data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by emailing admin@studio074.dev. Uploaded files are permanently deleted from our storage within 48 hours of upload, regardless of whether the job has completed. We do not sell your files and we never use them to train any AI or large language model.

6. Cookies

We use the following types of cookies:

• Strictly necessary. Session cookies that keep you authenticated. These cannot be disabled without breaking the service.
• Preference. Stores UI settings such as your last-used template or tour completion state.
• Analytics. Aggregate, anonymised usage data used to understand which features are popular. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

You can decline non-essential cookies using the banner shown on first visit. You can also clear cookies at any time via your browser settings.

7. Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Access tokens for cloud storage providers are encrypted at rest. We follow industry-standard security practices and review them regularly.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, email admin@studio074.dev. We will respond within 30 days.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of RenameHub after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
